Privacy Policy

Power Napper (“the app”) is a nap alarm for Wear OS smartwatches, published by JW Consulting & Transportation LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: everything stays on your watch. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no ads.
Information the app uses
While a nap is in progress, the app reads:
- Heart rate from your watch's sensor, to detect when you fall asleep.
- Wrist movement from the motion sensor, to tell whether you are still.
- Whether the watch is on your wrist, so a watch lying on a table is never counted as asleep.
The app also keeps:
- Nap history: when each nap started and ended, when you fell asleep, how long you slept, snoozes, a per-minute heart-rate summary, and your optional “How do you feel?” rating.
- Settings: nap lengths, backup alarm time and sound preference.
- Your purchase status: whether you have unlocked the full app.
How it is used
This information is used only to run the app on your watch: to detect sleep, wake you at the right time, and show you your own nap history, charts and insights. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
Where it is stored and who can see it
- All of the above is processed and stored only on your watch.
- It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, never sold, and never shared.
- The app turns off Android backup for its data, so it is not copied to cloud backups.
- We cannot see your data, because we never receive it.
Purchases
The optional one-time unlock is sold and processed by Google Play. Your payment details go to Google, not to us; Google's handling of them is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The app only asks Google Play whether you own the unlock.
Permissions

You can decline heart-rate access; the app then detects sleep from stillness alone.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your nap history stays on the watch until you remove it. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your watch's settings, permanently deletes everything. There is no account to close.
Children
Power Napper is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Medical disclaimer
Power Napper is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat or monitor any health condition. Its sleep detection is an estimate.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party fonts. If you join the waitlist, your email address is stored by our form provider, Formspree, and used only to tell you when the app launches. Ask us any time to delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
